You may see road graders ice blading this winter, especially on gravel and low-volume roads.

Ice blading removes packed snow and ice to improve traction, reduce ruts, protect the road surface, and minimize damage during spring thaw.

You may notice a windrow along the road after blading. This material is mostly ice, snow, and road treatment—not the gravel base.

Roads may be temporarily rough but will smooth out with traffic.

Please slow down and give maintenance equipment plenty of space.
