The purpose of the Special Meeting is to provide a public open house to receive input from the public regarding the Notice of Motion put forward at the January 28, 2025 Council Meeting for a change in the composition of Council for the Deputy Mayor position to be a one-year appointment as elected by Council, commencing with the 2026 election.
